FAQ
Prior to your treatment, please make sure your eyes are free of makeup, mascara, and false eyelashes. If you use Latisse or another lash serum, please stop product use for 24-48 hours prior to your appointment. Lastly, if you wear contact lenses please make sure they are removed prior to treatment.
It is varies from person to person, but a lash lift usually lasts about 6-8 weeks (sometimes longer) depending on aftercare. Following the aftercare instructions given above for the first 24 hours after your treatment will help with longevity. In addition, we recommend brushing your lashes in an upright position anytime following a shower (or after getting your lashes wet) to help keep the shape of them.
For best results, we recommend keeping your lashes dry for at least 24 years after applying the lash lift. It also means that you should avoid going into a sauna, or applying oil-based products on your face. Water, mascara, etc. can weigh down the lashes and compromise the lift that was set via the chemical change from your treatment.
You will not need mascara anymore! But, just because you asked us, the answer is Yes! However, do not apply mascara for at least 24 hours after Lash Lift Application
A lash lift will begin to naturally drop after about 2 months and your lashes will be back to their natural look. The lashes should drop evenly and will not look out of place. You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of one month if you feel you need to, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state.
Avoid using exfoliants, retinoids, or AHAs on your face for one to two weeks before your brow lamination. Avoid tweezing at least one week prior to your appointment (if you’re interested, we do offer the option to add on a brow wax to your lamination appointment). Please come to your appointment without any makeup on your face
Main rule: do not get your eyebrows wet (avoid the shower & bath, or going into a sauna) within the first 24 hours of treatment. Don’t use oil based products. Don’t apply heavy creams, makeup, or makeup remover to your brows. Don’t sleep directly on your brows (we know, easier said than done for our stomach sleepers)
It will last about 6 weeks (again, depending on aftercare). Be sure to follow the “Don’ts” mentioned above in the first 24 hours following your treatment for longevity.
We would encourage you to not bring children to your appointment so that our beauty professionals can have your undivided attention.
